PaperLicous Team Gifts Convention2013

I am lucky to have two of my lovely PaperLicious team members join me again this year at Convention.   Tracy has been to 3 now, and it is Joey's first one this time around.   As you read this we will be in sunny (I hope) Brisbane having a fabulous time crafting, learning, meeting with Shelli and enjoying some relaxing time with fellow demo's and the odd glass of wine or so!

Here's what I made for my girls to celebrate our little crafty get away....

These tins are stamped with
Staz On and the flourish from
Established Elegance.

And inside they have 2 necklaces made using Stampin' Up's! gorgeous fabric.  This one is Cherry Cobbler & Rich Razzleberry.    The scissor charm or key chain is made from the Soda Pop Tops in the current mini and I've used Collage Curios, stamped then covered with Crystal Effects.

The fabric here is Rich Razzleberry & Marina Mist.

Next year I hope to have more of my lovely team come along.  We have so much fun!

Cheers

PaperLicious Team Swaps

Here's what I made for my team this year;

He looks even cuter when the light is switched on but it wouldn't show up in the pic :(

The cute little snowman is a CASE from Becky Roberts.  That lady is one clever crafter.  And wouldn't you know it, months ago while in Costco I found a lot of these battery operated tea lights, so a big thank you to Becky for giving me a way to use them!!

As for the box, that's as easy as 1-2-3 with the Two Tags die for the Big Shot, a length of Cherry Cobbler seam binding and some snowflakes from the Snow Flurry Die - my new fave!  The centres are our Dahlia's in Raspberry Ripple & Gumball Green.

The DSP is the Festival of Prints.   I used a piece of Very Vanilla to make the centre part of the box - it measures 6 3/4" x 2 7/8" and is scored at 1/2 inch from each edge (portrait) and 2" from each edge (landscape).  If you attended any of the Heartfelt events this year you would have had something similar as a make n take.

Pop back tomorrow, when my 12 Days of Christmas projects begin!

Cheers

Paperlicious

Last night we held our first PaperLicious Christmas Party at the Indian Palace in Balmain.   We had a lovely evening with good company, a few giggles & some crafting talk, great food & fantastic swaps.

It was a bit dark so we look a little grainy - sorry girls!

This month's swap challenge was to use the Ornament Punch (item #119847).  We also had a step it up option to try to create something that wasn't necessarily Christmas.   I love this type of challenge because it shows you just how versatile our punches really are.  And who wouldn't want to buy a high quality punch that they can use for Christmas and ALL year round?

Michelle's gift box

Joey decorated these cello bags and filled them with Italian cookies for each of us.

And here we are after dinner stamping on the paper table cloths and holding up our lovely crafty things!

Not happy unless we're stamping

Showing off our swaps.

Happy Tuesday!
