Thanks Trish from Ballina!   This is Trish's second contribution, as she also sent cards for the Christmas drive.

Have a happy stampin day!

Gorgeous Packaging

After a very successful February class titled Take 1, Make 4, I decided to use one of my newly created cards - crazy, but sometimes I just can't part with them!

Anyway, I needed to make a box for the birthday gift, and this is what I came up with.

I also used some of the stamped cardstock that I made for the card to line the inside base of the box.

The angle's a bit weird, but I took it from above so you could see down into the box.

All materials are by Stampin' Up!  The colours used are:
Whisper White, Not Quite Navy, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze & Basic Grey.   The ribbon is Kiwi Kiss Double Striped and I've used Hodgepodge Hardware in Styled Silver on the tag.  The stamp set is Autumn Flair.

If you'd like to come to a class and make something like this, let me know.  There's nothing to purchase other than the class fee because I supply everything you'll need.

Happy Stamping

Simply Nice

This is one of my favourite colour combos - well, today anyway!   It's Not Quite Navy, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze & Basic Grey.

I've used a One Sheet Wonder technique to do the stamping on Whisper White.  This is by far, the best way of making a few cards at the same time with the minimum fuss.

Keeping the embellishments simple is another good tip - keeps the cost down too.   In this case I've used Kiwi Kiss Striped Ribbon and a staple.  Voila!

Where's your Mojo?

One of my goals this year is to expand my portfolio and blog more.  So I've decided to try some challenges, and a good place to start is with Mojo Monday sketch challenges.   It's also a good way to develop your creativity if you're new to stamping and papercraft because it gives you a starting point that often inspires you to try something different.   So here's my first Mojo Monday.  It's MOJO125.

I found this quite challenging for my first time because it forced me to use my Circle Scissors - which, by the way, is an awesome tool, but it requires some practice.  Hence the value in Mojo Monday!
Leave me a post to tell me how/where you find your Mojo.    Have a super day!

Needs a Name Card

I recently had a Christmas card come back Return to Sender - sad, I don't know where this friend is right now.  BUT, I realised I hadn't taken any pics of this type of card, and then when I thought how cute it was, I decided to make another.  Here they are:
And I called them Slot Cards, but that seems a lot lame, so they need a name.  What do you think?

All supplies are Stampin' Up!  If you'd like a list feel free to email me.
