Another week has flown by and brings Mojo Monday around again.
My card for this weeks sketch is very literal, but I'm happy with it and it was very quick to make.
I started by choosing the DSP - Floral District. From there it was a no-brainer; choose the coordinating stamp set - Betsy's Blossoms.
The DSP determined the colours and voila, card in a flash!
Happy Tuesday!

Mojo Monday 259
It's been a while since I did one of these.
Here's the sketch:
And my interpretation:
Supplies Used:
Stamp Set; Betsy's Blossoms
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pool Party & Pacific Point
DSP: International Bazaar
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Lucky Limeade & Pacific Point
Framelits Labels Collection
Chevron Embossing Folder
Big Shot
Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon 5/8"
White Gel Pen
Here's the sketch:
And my interpretation:
Sorry it looks so blue with that background. I need to work on my photography skills! To represent the scallop detail in the sketch, I've used white taffeta ribbon and ruffled it behind the Pool Party Framelit. Quite tricky to do! I've only ever done this technique in a circle before and I overlooked the fact that the framelit has those bits that cut in. Oh well, I'm still pleased with the way it turned out. Hope you like it too.

Simply Scored CAS
I would put this card in my clean & simple category. It's very straightforward and uses a minimum of supplies. Plus it was quick to make.
Yes, it's another sneak peek using products from the upcoming catalogue (get your copy at my launch party on 1 Sept). Contact me today if you'd like to come along, I only have a couple of spaces left, so be quick!
The colours used are Tangerine Tango for the base & bird. I love the depth of this particular orange. The leaf is stamped in Old Olive while the flower and sentiment are done in Tempting Turquoise. Not colours I'd normally put together, however I did want to try a different combination, so I grabbed my Color Coach & voila, this is what I found. Don't they look nice and fresh together?!
Happy Friday.

P.S. Darling Stamp & Scrap is on tomorrow and there's still a couple of spots if you'd like to come!

Time for a Sneak Peek
I am so ready for the new catalogue! There's always a rush of excitement with new goodies, and this year is no different - except to say it may be better than ever before!!
Anyway, I have some of my new toys, so after having a little play, thought I should share a project......
The colours I've used are Pink Pirouette (card base and medium flower), Elegant Eggplant for the main flower and the DSP, and Lucky Limeade for the sentiment & small flower. The ruffled ribbon is Wisteria Wonder.
Hope you like it!
Cheers
