Party Puffins Make A Wish

 Warning....cuteness overload!

You really can use any Designer Series Paper with these happy little puffins.  They work with all sorts of colours and patterns.  The trick is to pick out complementary colours to fill in the images like the cake & fish in this card.  The Pear Pizzazz colour in this spotty DSP doesn't make another appearance, but it is complemented so well in the blue card base and ribbon that it doesn't matter.

And in my second card, it's just a matter of picking the dominant colour in the DSP - in this case it's Calypso Coral. So I chose Pumpkin Pie to make a statement and really set off the Puffins with those cute little candles, which you'll notice I've coloured using the shades of the DSP .  The speckled background ties it all together.

They are such lovely birthday cards for the littlies, don't you think?
