Stationery Box

Yesterday I spent the whole day (well, while the kids were at school) in my craft room!  Decadent, but soooooo nice.  Anyway, I've been wanting to try out the stationery box that Jackie Topa so beautifully created.    www.jackietopa.typepad.com.   Thanks Jackie, I love your ideas!

And here it is!   I made it for a girlfriend of mine who's a great letter writer so hopefully she'll love it.  Of course, both my daughters want one as well now, so I've got a lot of excuses for crafting into the wee hours.

My first ever blog!

Wow!  I'm blogging!  I've seen so many blogs for my crafting hobby & finally I'm taking the plunge and joining in on the fun. 

I guess my biggest fear is can I cram one more thing into my busy day?  Or will I get addicted to blogging and, since the computer is in the kitchen, keep burning the dinner as I get distracted so easily.....upset hubby & kids....not to mention hungry!  Oh well, I guess there's only one way to find out.....now off to find something interesting that people will want to blog about!
