Here's a card made using the Delicate Doilies stamp set with heat and stick powder.
First, stamp the image in Versamark and sprinkle the H&S powder over the top. Next, heat it till the powder turns to liquid. Sprinkle glitter over the top and heat again briefly to set.
I love the effect this gives, but it can be a little tempermental so it's worth trying it out first to see how your stamp works. Fine details are easily lost, so make sure you are using superfine glitter.
The DSP is Mocha Morning Specialty - it makes me sad just looking at it because it's retired :( If this was a touchy screen you could feel the flocking on the paper! The Organza ribbon & faceted button (both current) add an elegant finish. A perfect wedding or engagement card, me thinks!
Thanks for stopping by!

CAS Masculine Birthday
The new Mocha Morning Specialty DSP is a real winner. I think some of the papers remind me of an old world gentleman's club......well, at least those I've seen in movies!
This card is definitely clean and simple and the stripes really lend themselves to a discerning gentleman's birthday.
Supplies used:
Stamp Set: Word Play
Cardstock: Very Vanilla & Soft Suede
Paper: Mocha Morning Specialty DSP
Ink: Early Espresso
Buttons
1/2" Circle Punch

Mojo Monday 207
Once again, too much time has passed since I did a Mojo Monday. This one got me thinking about details. The sketch has quite a lot on it, and that means it stretched my creativity because I'm more inclined towards clean & simple styles.
Here's my card:
Supplies:
Stamp Set: Life Definitions, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede
DSP: Mocha Morning Specialty - yep, it gets my vote for favourite so far this year!
Ink: Early Espresso
Wide Oval Punch, Full Heart & Heart to Heart punches
Basic Jewels Pearls & Satin ribbon in Early Espresso.
Enjoy!
