Sharing the Love

Today was the closing date for Christmas Cards for our Australian Armed Forces.

It was all planned, Liz arrived promptly at 2pm and after a cuppa for sustenance we started to count.........halfway through, Liz opened a box from Felicity and there was a little gift inside for me, that I just have to share with you.

Isn't this gorgeous? Look at that card? Stunning! If you hop over to Felicity's blog you will be treated to more of her beautiful work.   This card is so well balanced and the Cherry Cobbler with Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake make a soft feminine combination.

But that candle, wow!  I wish my blog was smell-a-vision because the scent is so yummy you could eat it.   It's actually French Vanilla, but it reminds me of an old English lolly shop.  And I love that little glass dish.  The photo doesn't do it justice because it has a delicate fluted edge and a lovely pattern around the outside.   mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Anyway, thank you Felicity, not only for your contribution, but for that thoughtful gift, and for inspiring me to be a better crafter!

Have a great weekend everyone
Cheers
Karen

Pop over to the Christmas Cards for Australian Armed Forces page for the card tally!  It's huge!  Names and details to follow soon.
